Gerety Awards 2026: Bold Ideas, Cultural Moments And Creative Craft Take Centre Stage

The 2026 Gerety Awards has unveiled its winners, celebrating some of the world’s most distinctive and impactful creative campaigns, with four Grand Prix awards going to three outstanding pieces of work.
The winning campaigns; “No Project Without Drama” for HORNBACH, “The Count” for SickKids, and “The KitKat Heist” for KitKat; stood out for their originality, cultural relevance, strategic thinking and exceptional execution. The KitKat campaign emerged as a double Grand Prix winner.
This year’s awards brought together more than 250 judges from over 50 countries, representing leading voices across advertising, marketing, production, design and media. Their collective expertise helped identify work that demonstrated not only creative excellence but also the ability to create meaningful connections with audiences.
The 2026 edition recorded an impressive four Grand Prix, 34 Gold, 69 Silver and 75 Bronze awards, while also marking the first-time recognition of creative work from Tunisia.
The Grand Prix-winning campaigns reflect the breadth of creativity celebrated by the Gerety Awards. “No Project Without Drama”, created for HORNBACH by HeimatTBWA\ Berlin, received the Grand Prix in the Craft CUT – Production Design category. “The Count”, created for SickKids by Soundtree Music for FCB Canada, won the Grand Prix in Craft CUT – Music.
Meanwhile, “The KitKat Heist” by VML UK for KitKat claimed two Grand Prix awards, winning in the Communication CUT – PR category and the newly introduced Moments CUT – PR category.
The winning work also generated strong reactions from members of the Gerety Awards Grand Jury, who highlighted the ability of this year’s strongest campaigns to earn attention rather than simply demand it.
Dipshika Ravi, National Creative Director at Schbang, India, described “The KitKat Heist” as a particularly compelling example of an idea that transformed an unexpected brand situation into a cultural conversation, noting that the campaign demonstrated the defining quality of Grand Prix-level work: an idea that audiences willingly engage with.
Maria Milusheva, CCO at OM Group & MUCH BETTER, Bulgaria, praised the campaign for its boldness and ability to turn a challenge into a participatory experience, observing that while technology can generate content, earning genuine audience attention still requires courage and audacity.
For Imen Gharbi, Managing Director at Doze Agency, Tunisia, the strongest work demonstrated an impressive combination of simplicity, craft, cultural understanding and precision.
Alejandra Fehrmann, Global Communications Executive, said the winning campaigns demonstrated that great creative work does not need to demand attention, but instead earns it through surprise, emotion and ideas capable of travelling across markets and cultures.
Christen Rochon, Ad Partnerships Director at NBCUniversal, described the winning work as more than a celebration of creative excellence, noting that the strongest campaigns demonstrate influence and contribute to the continued evolution of culture beyond the immediate advertising moment.
The 2026 Gerety Awards once again reinforces its position as a global platform for recognising creative work through a distinctive, inclusive and powerful lens. The diversity of this year’s winners demonstrates that creativity can emerge from different markets, disciplines and cultural perspectives while still creating ideas with global resonance.
The Gerety Awards will also feature Grand Jury Insight panels, where members of this year’s jury discuss emerging creative trends and some of their favourite campaigns from the 2026 competition.
