Just like the award show, the Gerety Talks series puts some of the marketing and creative industries’ true changemakers in the spotlight and at the centre of the conversation for a refreshing take on what leadership looks like.
Margaux Gutmann is an art director at Edelman Paris with a passion for creating impactful campaigns that address contemporary societal issues. She started her career in independent French agencies before joining BETC Paris, where she worked on international campaigns. Her work has earned her awards for campaigns with a cultural impact on society, including a Eurobest Glass.
Margaux is dedicated to supporting female talent and mentoring young female art directors in the industry.
In her spare time, she trains her recently adopted dog Tofu. No need to say that Tofu was quickly promoted to chief of happiness officer in the workplace.
Mary Soroka is an award-winning art, creative, and film director, currently serving as global vice president at Edelman New York. Recognitions include The One Show, Clios, The Webby Awards, Cannes Lions, London International Awards, UN Women, and more. She has provided creative solutions and leadership for a number of Fortune 500 companies and brands, such as Dove (including the viral #KeepTheGrey and #LetHerGrow campaigns), IKEA, and Google.
