Modupe Kadri, Ayeni Adekunle, Udeme Ufot & Others To Headline Nigeria-South Africa Chamber Of Commerce Forum

A distinguished line-up of industry leaders, including Modupe Kadri, Chief Financial Officer of MTN Nigeria; Ayeni Adekunle, Founder and CEO of BlackHouse Media (BHM); and Udeme Ufot, Group Managing Director of So&U, are set to headline the Nigeria-South Africa Chamber of Commerce (NSACC) August 2026 Breakfast Forum.
The event, taking place at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos, on Thursday, August 27, will focus on unlocking new frontiers for cross-border collaboration under the overarching theme ‘Building Local Content Together: 25 Years of Shared Growth.’
The NSACC acts as a vital commercial bridge for Nigerian businesses. Founded in 2000, it unites regulatory guidance, trade facilitation, and policy representation to empower Nigerian members to seamlessly scale across borders and integrate into multinational supply chains. This initiative helps local firms protect their market share and attract foreign investment.
The panelists bring decades of operational experience from the telecommunications, strategic communications, and marketing sectors.
The macroeconomic imperative for deeper cooperation is supported by trade data. UN COMTRADE figures indicate that non-oil trade exports between Nigeria and South Africa have expanded by over 14% year-on-year, driven by expanding footprints in creative media, financial services, and telecommunications technology. As multinational corporations expand across sub-Saharan Africa, integrating domestic agencies into corporate supply chains has proven essential for local employment and skill retention.
The panelists will address the operational mechanics of building local capacity, navigating dual-market regulatory compliance, and fostering talent mobility between both nations. Discussions will also highlight how creative and technological supply chains can be fortified to ensure indigenous firms retain a greater share of high-value corporate contracts.
With over 300 C-suite executives expected in attendance, the Nigeria-South Africa Chamber Of Commerce forum aims to provide a structured platform for bilateral policymaking and private-sector alliances. The deliberations are projected to establish updated benchmarks for local content enforcement, ensuring domestic businesses remain central to intra-African commercial expansion.
