Ecobank Nigeria, a subsidiary of the leading pan-African banking group Ecobank, has launched the “Ecobank Super Rewards Millionaire Geng Promo” to reward its most loyal customers.
Over the six-month promotion, running from July 1 to December 31, 2024, 540 customers will receive various financial rewards for maintaining deposits in their accounts.
Adeola Ogunyemi, Head of Consumer Banking, announced the launch, highlighting that the initiative aims to reward loyal customers and promote financial inclusion among Nigerians, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas. She noted that both current and potential individual bank clients in Nigeria are eligible to participate and benefit from the rewards and an enhanced banking experience.
“Under the reward initiative, 520 of our customers will win N50,000 monthly for six months; 16 customers are expected to win N500,000 quarterly in September and December, and 4 customers will win N2,000,000 each at the end of the campaign. We expect many Nigerians, especially those who do not yet have an account with us, to take advantage of this opportunity and enjoy the top-notch services we offer,” Ogunyemi said.
Victor Yalokwu, Head of Consumer Segments & Products, explained the campaign’s dynamics, stating that the requirements to qualify for the promotion are straightforward to encourage participation from both new and existing customers.
“New customers only need to open an account with a minimum of N10,000 and maintain it for 30 days to qualify for the monthly draw, which also applies to existing customers. To qualify for the quarterly draw, new and existing customers must deposit and maintain a minimum of N50,000 for three consecutive months. For the grand prize, customers need to deposit and maintain a minimum of N50,000 for six consecutive months,” Yalokwu stated.
“Customers are also expected to perform a minimum of two transactions monthly,” he added.
