BUA Foods Plc is expanding its pasta production capacity by an additional 400,000 MT per year, bringing its total capacity to 900,000 MT.
This move follows the signing of an agreement with FAVA, a top Italian pasta equipment manufacturer. Additionally, BUA Foods has signed a deal with Martini, also from Italy, for advanced packaging equipment. The expansion aligns with the company’s strategic focus on food security and includes boosting its grain storage capacity by 100,000 tonnes through a partnership with Cukurova Silo from Turkiye.

BUA Foods’ Chairman, Abdul Samad Rabiu, highlighted that these initiatives will not only improve product availability but also introduce innovations, strengthen food supply chains, and create jobs.
The company is also expanding its flour milling capacity to 2.5 million MT per year through a separate agreement with IMAS, a Turkish milling equipment firm.
