Leo Burnett Lagos, a creative advertising agency, has appointed Babatunde Shobanjo as Head of Business/Chief Operating Officer (COO). Prior to his elevation, he was the Business Director/Head, Account Management of the agency.
Babatunde will be playing key role to ensure that the agency achieves its mission which is using creativity to serve human need by working with the philosophy driven by the belief that creativity has the power to transform behaviour.
His role will also include designing and implementing business operations, establishing policies that promote the agency’s culture and vision and overseeing its operations and the work of executives.
With more than 13 years in the service industry with a passion for defining, developing and executing business vision, Babatunde is dedicated to ensuring that all people and processes are in place to support business strategies and deliver results. He is a man of many talents who somehow believes work should be FUN!
His charm and high spirits have caused him to grace the hearts of many clients across his eight years plus in the advertising industry, which started at Dimeo & CoChicago Illinois followed by a stint in Grey Advertising London, Saatchi & Saatchi London and Insight Communications.
Remarkably at Leo Burnett Lagos, he started as Account Director, before he was elevated to the position of Business Director/Head, Account Management and recently he became the Head of Business/Chief Operating Officer.
