
SuperBridge Summit 2024, organised by Dubai World Trade Centre and SuperBridge Council, brought together 700 C-level executives and 60 speakers, promoting collaboration and innovation across the Global South.
The SuperBridge Summit 2024, held alongside GITEX Global, successfully concluded at the One&Only One Za’abeel Hotel in Dubai. Organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and the SuperBridge Council, the two-day event attracted over 700 C-level executives and 60 high-profile speakers from fast-growing regions in the Global South. The summit established itself as a premier platform for innovation, collaboration, and community-building, focusing on key sectors such as sustainability, technology, banking, retail, and healthcare.

In a keynote address, H.E. Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE’s Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, discussed the importance of AI innovations and advanced technologies in shaping future economic growth. He urged participants to embrace new opportunities in these fields.
Notable companies such as Insilico, Flutterwave, and Singapore’s MVGX Group led discussions on pioneering efforts in biotech, fintech, and decarbonisation. The summit also emphasised the growing trend of cross-border investments and strategic partnerships across the Global South, fostering economic growth in the region.
Trixie LohMirmand, Executive Vice President at DWTC, remarked on the UAE’s emergence as a global innovation hub, stating that events like the SuperBridge Summit propel collaboration and future growth. Khalid Al Jarwan, VP of Operations at Dubai Chambers, highlighted the summit’s alignment with Dubai Chambers’ goals of fostering global partnerships and economic development.
The summit, which facilitated knowledge sharing among next-gen leaders, reinforced Dubai’s role as a key player in global economic collaboration. Attendees gained valuable insights to contribute to the broader development of the global economy.
