ALX Nigeria, Africa’s leading tech career accelerator, made a strong impact at the second edition of the Ibadan Tech Summit. The event, held in Ibadan, Oyo State, attracted thousands of young professionals, startups, and tech enthusiasts, where ALX played a key role as one of the main sponsors. The summit, supported by the Oyo State Government, aimed to strengthen the region’s tech ecosystem and position Ibadan as a rapidly growing tech-friendly city in Africa.

Seun Babajide Duroshola, Country Marketing Manager for ALX Nigeria, represented the organisation on a panel discussing strategies for fostering growth and innovation in Oyo State’s tech landscape. Seun highlighted ALX Africa’s unique programme structure, which equips participants with relevant tech skills while promoting networking and collaboration within its community-focused framework.
He remarked, “ALX ensures that participants never feel isolated by creating an active tech community in each state across Nigeria.” He further expressed excitement about Ibadan’s growth as a tech hub, stating, “We aim to empower the youth to not only participate in building the tech landscape but to lead it.”
