ALX Wins Outstanding Leader In Technology Accelerator Award At WEETS 2024

Adebimpe Odulana, Partnership Lead, ALX Nigeria, received an Outstanding Leader in Technology Accelerator Award at the Women Entrepreneurs & Executives in Tech Summit (WEETS) 2024 held in Lagos recently.

ALX secured the “Outstanding Leader in Technology Accelerator Award” at the WEETS 2024 Summit, further cementing its position as a tech learning leader.

ALX, Africa’s leading tech learning accelerator, has once again demonstrated its trailblazing role in the tech industry by winning the “Outstanding Leader in Technology Accelerator Award” at the Women Entrepreneurs & Executives in Tech Summit (WEETS) 2024. The prestigious award was received by Adebimpe Odunlana, ALX Partnership Lead, during the event held at the Lagos Chambers of Commerce & Industry (LCCI).

The WEETS 2024 summit commenced with a dynamic boot camp, where ALX’s Operations Manager, Helen Eboagwu, delivered an empowering talk on “Balancing Work & Life.” She addressed the modern-day challenges women face in balancing career and personal responsibilities, emphasising the importance of self-care, mental wellness, and setting realistic workplace boundaries to avoid burnout.

In a key panel discussion titled AI Leadership: Navigating the Future of Women in Business, Adebimpe Odunlana represented ALX, sharing insights on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and women’s leadership. She underscored the critical role AI plays in reshaping industries, urging women leaders to strategically harness AI’s potential to transform business landscapes.

The WEETS Summit brought together women leaders from various industries, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing. Ugochi Emmanuel, organiser of the summit, applauded ALX for its ongoing contributions to the tech ecosystem, recognising its continued support and revolutionary approach to tech learning.

ALX’s success at WEETS 2024 is the latest in a series of accolades, including EdTech Company of the Year, Tech Unite Africa Award for Excellence, and Most Innovative EdTech Company of the Year at the Titans of Tech Awards.
